Blending the raw energy of Classic and Southern Rock with the gritty soul of Outlaw Country, JD Cable is far from your run-of-the-mill front man. Hailing from small-town Indiana, JD’s musical roots run deep! Cutting his teeth on everything from Rock and Country Gospel to Barbershop harmonies. This diverse background helped forge his distinctive sound. JD has a seamless fusion of styles wrapped in powerful, heartfelt vocals and breathtaking harmonies.

Following high school, JD joined the U.S. Army, where he earned a coveted spot in the legendary 2nd Armored Division Band. His talent quickly elevated him to lead vocalist of the elite U.S. Army Express Showband, touring installations across the U.S. and Europe. Along the way, he shared stages with major acts like Night Ranger, 38 Special, and Country star Sylvia.

Since returning to civilian life, JD has toured the nation, lighting up venues and opening for fan-favorite acts including Craig Morgan, Blackberry Smoke, Uncle Kracker, D.B. Bryant Band, Kiss Army, and many more.

Now, with The Empty Bottle Band—featuring Alan “A.K.” Kincer on drums, Jared Piper on lead guitar, and Jason Moorehouse on bass—JD Cable and the Empty Bottle Band deliver electrifying performances that capture the soul of Southern rock while igniting every stage they play.
