The Band Waleska is a Southern rock band born and raised in Waleska, Georgia. Their sound blends blues grit, country soul, and straight-up rock power. The band started in 2017 when longtime friends Nolan Hawthorne, Caleb Gayton, Skylar Scales, and Hunter Lanning began jamming after work. That spark lit a fire. By 2021, Wiley Sims joined on keys, and Drew Ferney locked in on drums. Together, they built a six-piece force driven by raw performances and songs rooted in Southern tradition. Fans of Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, and Chris Stapleton feel right at home. On stage, Waleska delivers no-frills, hard-hitting live shows that stay true to their Georgia roots.
