In this week’s blog I talk about a week full of music, soulful blues and Superstar Karaoke! Last week at the Farm Lounge was one for the books! We kicked things off on Thursday with the Brad Thomas Project, whose electrifying performance set the perfect tone. Brad also joined us for a heartfelt podcast discussion, where he opened up about his passion for songwriting and performing, as well as the challenges of booking venues. His honesty and dedication were inspiring, offering a glimpse into the determination required to thrive in the music industry.
Then came Friday, and Anthony Easterwood took the stage. A military veteran, Anthony has been performing for years, and his deep love for music shines through in every note. He shared how music has carried him through life’s toughest moments, including his wife’s battle with cancer while he was serving his country. His original song, Fighting for Love, brought the room to an emotional standstill—raw, powerful, and deeply personal. We’re honored to have had him share his story with us.

On the Road Again : Soulful Blues
Sunday night, we took the experience on the road, heading to Huntsville for the Blues Jam at Voodoo Lounge. What an unforgettable night! Lance Almon Smith and James Irvin got the music flowing, and before long, the stage filled with talented musicians eager to share their sound. The jam session carried deep into the night, a true testament to the soulfulness and love for the blues that filled the room.
